God's grace is always greater!
"Definite Hope amidst Sin and Guilt: A Walk through Psalm 51" has been written as a companion to "Battling Sexual Temptations and Sins."
David, a man after God's own heart, had committed adultery and murder. God confronted him through Nathan, the prophet. After he acknowledged his sins, God freely and immediately forgave him. That's the astounding good news of the gospel! Indeed, "My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD" (Isa. 55:8).
Psalm 51 is the expression of David's contrition and repentance
While it's related to David's sins, it's also fully applicable to all our sins.
This psalm shows what true and godly repentance looks like.
